An image consultant is your advocate. It is important to know
that as a professional image consultation service, Kristel Closets
will not take commission for sales from department stores, boutiques
or our clients. We charge a set rate so there are no surprises
and we stay unbiased in our suggestions. Our top priority is
that you look and feel your very best.
Image Assessment
This 60 minute initial consultation provides the basis of your image
needs and desires. Through simple questions and conversation,
we will have an overall assessment of your individual image concerns,
and then analyze your lifestyle, including professional and social
needs. With this information in hand we are able to define the
image you want to project. Finally, we put together an action
plan specifically tailored to your individual needs.
This service is required for all first time clients.
Wardrobe Assessment
During this meeting, we will conduct a complete closet audit. We
will eliminate items you do not like or are damaged, ill fitting
(and cannot be tailored) or are no longer appropriate. Then,
we will determine what needs to be tailored and cleaned. With
a few minor adjustments, many items you already own will serve as
key elements of your wardrobe. We will develop your “core”,
or the true workhorses in your wardrobe. Finally, we will develop
a list of needed items and an appropriate budget. After the
Wardrobe Assessment, you will receive the beginning of your personalized “look
book.” This book is custom made for each client and includes
a log of every item you own, how to wear it, how to care for it,
and, ultimately, a list of “go to” outfits. We will then
arrange a time to shop. We also take care of donation drop
off, and will pick up and deliver any alterations.
Personal Shopping
For many women, shopping is an intimidating experience. It
is easy to be overwhelmed by aggressive salespeople, abundant choices
and high prices. How often have you bought the wrong item or
left with nothing at all? Our personal shopping service teaches
you what to buy and works within your budget. This package also
includes pre-shopping. Because Kristel Closets will shop for
you the day before, a selection of clothes and accessories will be
in your dressing room when you arrive. Our excellent relationship
with retailers also enables us to arrange to bring the clothes to
your home or office. In addition, we will follow up on
any special orders, arrange for alterations and will deliver the
garments to you at a convenient time and location. You will
also receive additional pages to your Look Book, with all of your
new items, and new outfits outlined.
The service will not end that day. Consultants are available
to answer any questions you may have as you become accustomed to
your new wardrobe.

and we will find it for you. We will ask you a few simple questions

each item, and ship or deliver it to your specifications.

service includes, but is not limited to, an evaluation of the general
dress of the company, a one on one with management to establish their
concerns and vision, and a custom workshop for employees where they
will learn how to affordably update their business image, and how
that image powerfully affects their results. We will also work
with the company to help design uniforms, if appropriate.
